The Educator Advancement Council seeks its next leader.

In 2017, the Oregon State Legislature created the Educator Advancement Council (EAC). Now seven years old, the EAC is a coalition of educators, leaders, community partners and state agencies who work towards building a statewide professional learning and educator support system that aspires to catapult Oregon’s education system to the forefront of public education.

Based in our state capital of Salem, and with initiatives that reach every corner of Oregon, the EAC has already begun to impact professional learning statewide. Today the EAC directs the use of state resources for initiatives that aim to help Oregon achieve high-quality, well-supported, and culturally responsive educators in every classroom. EAC's leadership works closely with the governor's office, the Oregon Department of Education, legislative offices and state agencies in support of these aims.

We now seek our next Executive Director to lead us into our next chapter. Our new Executive Director will bring an instructional background coupled with demonstrated accomplishments in policy and leadership, as well as an inexorable belief in the power of coalitions to create systemic change.

Please visit Human Capital Enterprises’ job landing page for additional information including application instructions.  This is an Oregon PERS-covered role with a salary range of 118k-183k. Our vacancy will remain open through May 11.
